EMERGENCY 911

If you have to leave your residence, try to take personal belongings with you, such as food stamps, valuable papers, (birth certificates, divorce decree etc.), prescriptions. If you stay at the COPE shelter, food, hygiene items and donated clothing can be provided to you at no charge.

Inquire about the "Family Violence Protection Act" and the "Crime Victims Reparation Act." Financial assistance may be available to crime victims through the N.M. Crime Victims Reparation Commission. The COPE office can assist you with any questions.
